In commemoration of the 101st year of Rotary movement, the Rotary Club of Madras South in association with the Stenographers' Guild, T Nagar has proposed to offer free training to 101 poor students, both boys and girls in executive secretaryship and computer hardware. 08.25.05 Meeting Recap

Jeremy Anderson led today's meeting as Kevin Hockert is on vacation. Mark Watkins delivered a warm invocation followed by Fred Bursch suggesting the singing of "I've Been Working On The Railroad" in honor of the current travel environment. Ric Dressen was the $10 winner of the Scholarship Raffle and Brian GibsonPhoto_082505_001 was unlucky in the Marble Drawing. Tom JacobsonPhoto_082505_003 introduced today's program for Mike Johnson.
Linda Roles provided an excellent presentation on the problems of methamphetamine. Contained in Linda's program were photos of the devastating effect of meth. Click here for information about meth. Also, on September 22nd Don Krueger's program will provide more insight on the present and growing threat of meth.
