"R-O-T-A-R-Y, That spells Rotary"
Notes from today's meeting: Randy E.
greeted Rotarians and chose Stuart H. as today's Mystery Person. Stuart chose Dave H. for his "more enthusiastic than normal handshake". Our lone guest, Sue L. from Runestone Electric, enjoyed the Club singing rousing versions of "R-O-T-A-R-Y" and "Hey, Look Me Over". Winning the $10 drawing was our newest member, Jason O.. Mark A.
had his ticket drawn for a chance at $359 but didn't have luck. Announcing good news was Jeremy A.
in that he and his wife are expecting twins in May.
The guest speaker today was Bill R. from Missouri River Energy Services which is a non-profit, joint action agency serving municipalities that have their own electric distribution system. An interesting fact is that 35% of Alexandria's power is hydro power. Bill thanked Rotarian Al C.
for his work on Missouri Energy's Board of Directors.
