Dublin, Ireland and Alexandria, Minnesota
A perk of being a Rotarian is the worldwide community you join.
Travel to virtually anywhere in the world and you will be welcomed at a local Rotary meeting. Pictured is me (Craig Mische) with Alan Foy, President of the Dublin Rotary Club (Dublin Central) during my last visit to Dublin in late 2006.
Alan and his fellow Dublin Rotarians welcomed me to their weekly meeting as if I were a long lost family member. Prior to the meeting, I had the chance to enjoy a glass of wine and conversation with fellow Rotarians and hear during the meeting about their club projects (and see the dedication of each of their members) and was allowed time to speak to the club about Alexandria, Minnesota and a few of our club's projects.
My travel log is one of hundreds from our Alexandria Rotary Club. The majority of our members have attended meetings in pretty much any city you can place your finger on a globe.
Rotary is a fantastic club full of energetic, selfless people doing positive things not only locally but worldwide. Consider sharing your talents to better the local and world community, contact the Alexandria Rotary Club today and join us for a noon lunch meeting. And, become friends with fantastic people that will give back double what you share with the world and local community.
